Recruitment Activities
San Diego Science Festival. Massive public science event to interest young people to study science.
Radio Show “Al filo de la ciencia”. Local radio talk show on RadioNet 1490AM focused on stimulating public interest in science and technology.
University of Colima. Recruitment activities for the University amongst local high school students.
Astronomical Society of Juarez. The astronomical society organized an annual event called “Semana de Astronomia”, where through public presentations and telescope observations science was promoted in the community, special interest was taken in inviting local schools.

Other public activities
Appearing on various local television broadcasts as a member of the Astronomical Society of Juarez to inform the public about upcoming astronomical events.
Observing astronomical events open to the general public. where young people were encouraged to study science.
